Free Fire Advanced Room Cards to Be Removed on December 16: All Features Going Free
Garena has announced a big change to the custom room system in Free Fire. Advanced Room Cards will soon be discontinued, and players will no longer need these cards to use their special features.
According to the in-game announcement, the change will take effect on December 16, 2026. Before that, Garena is also giving players a chance to claim free Advanced Room Cards every day.
This is good news for players who regularly create custom rooms, organize tournaments, or play scrims with their friends.
Let’s take a look at everything you need to know.
Free Advanced Room Cards Available From November 3
Garena is giving players one free Advanced Room Card every day from November 3 to December 15, 2026.
Players can collect these cards directly from the game during this period. So, if you regularly play custom matches, make sure you don’t miss the daily free reward.
Here are the important dates:
- November 3, 2026: Free card distribution begins.
- November 3 to December 15: Claim one free Advanced Room Card daily.
- December 16, 2026: Advanced Room Cards will be discontinued.
Advanced Room Cards Will Be Removed From Free Fire
The biggest part of this announcement is that Advanced Room Cards will no longer be available from December 16.
But don’t worry, this does not mean that advanced custom room features are going away.
Garena has confirmed that all Advanced Room Card features will become freely available in regular custom rooms.
This means players will no longer need a separate Advanced Room Card to access these features.
It is a major change because players who could not afford these cards will also be able to enjoy the advanced custom room experience.
What Will Happen to Advanced Custom Room Features?
After December 16, all features currently offered through Advanced Room Cards will be available in regular custom rooms for free.
This can make things easier for:
- Free Fire tournament organizers.
- Scrim and practice room hosts.
- Guild leaders.
- Content creators.
- Players who regularly create custom matches.
The best part is that players will not have to spend Diamonds just to access the features that were previously linked to Advanced Room Cards.
Will Purchased Advanced Room Cards Be Refunded?
This is one question many players may have.
As of now, Garena’s announcement does not clearly explain what will happen to unused Advanced Room Cards that players purchased earlier.
There is also no confirmed information about Diamond refunds or compensation for existing card owners.
So, players should wait for further clarification from Garena instead of believing unconfirmed refund claims.
My Take: This Is a Big Win for Free Fire Custom Room Players
In my opinion, this is one of the better changes Garena could make for the Free Fire community.
Advanced Room Cards were useful, especially for players who organize tournaments, scrims and community matches. However, requiring a separate card for these features could make things difficult for smaller tournament organizers and regular players.
Now, if Garena makes all these features available in regular custom rooms for free, more players will be able to organize matches without worrying about spending Diamonds.
I also like that Garena is giving away one free card every day before removing the system. Players can still enjoy the cards during the remaining period.
But I have one question: Will this change encourage more players to organize custom tournaments and scrims?
