Apna eSports: Building Bikaner’s Free Fire Community
Apna eSports describes itself as Bikaner’s first esports community, with a focus on bringing players together through competitive gaming events.
Rather than limiting gaming to casual matches, local tournaments can give squads an opportunity to develop teamwork, improve their competitive experience, and become more connected with the wider esports ecosystem.
The Free Fire India Diwali Cup is another step in that direction. By bringing 24 teams together at a physical venue, Apna eSports is creating a platform for local players to experience organised competition and represent their squads in front of the community.
For Bikaner’s aspiring esports players, events like this can also help build connectio
ns with other teams, gaming creators, tournament organisers, and potential sponsors.
Kanu Singh & Shiv Pratap Singh: The Key People Behind the Initiative
The esports initiative in Bikaner is not being led by Kanu Singh alone. Shiv Pratap Singh is also playing an important leadership role in bringing organised esports activities to the region.
Kanu Singh, associated with Apna eSports, has been actively involved in organising gaming events and building the local esports community. According to information shared by the organiser, his journey started with regular gaming events. As interest in these events grew, he received an official email from Free Fire India inviting him to work with the game’s team on hosting an event.
Alongside Kanu Singh, Shiv Pratap Singh is also contributing to the initiative and helping lead its activities. His involvement highlights the collaborative effort behind bringing a more organised esports environment to Bikaner.
Together, their efforts reflect how local gaming enthusiasts and organisers can work towards creating bigger opportunities for players, hosting competitive events, and developing the esports community in Rajasthan.
The initiative is a result of teamwork, consistent efforts, and the growing passion for esports among local gamers.
The November 6 tournament will be an important opportunity for Apna eSports to bring its community together and deliver a competitive experience for participating squads.

Why This Tournament Matters for Rajasthan’s Esports Scene
India’s gaming community includes players from major cities as well as smaller cities and towns. Local tournaments help bring these communities into the competitive space by providing opportunities to participate in organised events.
Bikaner’s Free Fire India Diwali Cup is an example of how community organisers can contribute to that development.
A tournament involving 24 teams can create a shared platform for players, gaming creators, and local businesses. It can also encourage more people to explore tournament participation and community-based esports activities.
While one event alone cannot determine the future of a city’s esports scene, consistent tournaments and well-organised competitions can help establish a stronger foundation for future opportunities.
For Apna eSports, the immediate goal is to bring players together for the November 6 competition. The longer-term opportunity is to keep building a community in which local talent has more chances to participate, improve, and gain recognition.
